December planner review {S.O.S. Planner}
In December I tried out the Anchored Women S.O.S. Planner for the month. If you are looking for a printable and customizable planner this one might be for you! I enjoyed my time in it, and appreciated all the little extras, like a weekly review “looking back” page and a “looking ahead” planning page each week. Plus you can print out monthly and weekly pages and/or add in daily pages, depending on how much detail you want.
There is a whole page for monthly meal ideas, including breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. This is great for big, busy families. I didn’t fill out the home/heart page, but love that idea too!
I printed my pages on 8.5 x 11 printer sized paper, but you can adjust the size to your preference. If I were doing this for a year, I might choose a smaller size because this takes up a lot of desk room to leave open and use when it’s this size, but I do like the extra space to write!
This is an example of the daily page and the weekly review page.
And a notes page and a look ahead planning page for the next week.
And for the weeks when I knew the days would be busy and full, I really liked the option of just printing a vertical layout weekly page. These are great if you don’t need a lot of daily detail, but like working mostly from lists.
Like I said in my set up post, I used this planner in 2017 when I was homeschooling and needed to keep on top of a lot of different things. It wasn’t a customizable planner then, and I think it’s really fun to have different options to make it work for you. If you want to know more, click over to their website here and look around. I don’t get any compensation from them, or any of the planners I reviewed in October, November, or December. I just thought you might like to see some of the planners put to use.
In January I’ll be back in my Bullet Journal for the year and am looking forward to it. I’ll have my set up post for January coming up soon!
