{Sermon notes} Spiritual Depression – Vain Regrets
I’m back to taking notes on Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones sermon series, Spiritual Depression. These notes are from sermon 6, titled Vain Regrets. Dr. Lloyd-Jones addresses Christians who are crippled in the present from looking at the past.
At first glance it seems to be directed solely to those who came to Christ later in life. However, if you came to Christ early on in life, it still applies! Listen to it in light of things you’ve regretted in your life. For example, I listened to this in light of my personal regrets about how I raised the boys, or the years I wasted in sin and apathy while a Christian. (Which have definitely crippled me in the present!)
I’ve uploaded a free printable for you to take your own notes while you listen to the sermon (click the picture or click here.) You can listen to the sermon here. It is also available in the book Spiritual Depression.
The notes are formatted to fit into a mini three ring binder. To print the notes, save the file to your computer and make sure your printer is set to print double sided and to flip on short edge. Then cut down the middle, hole punch, and take notes!
I’m sharing this with others. So good. Thank you!
